When applying for the UAE Residence Visa, the applicant should consider the below important information with regards whether the applicant :

  • Is intended to obtain the visa outside the United Arab Emirates;
  • Is obtaining a visa inside the country and is planning to change the status inside the country as well;
  • Is applying inside the country and is planning to exit the UAE for the visa status change purposes.

OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY

  • The application will be submitted to Immigration while the Applicant is OUTSIDE THE UAE.

  • Applicant must not book or buy an airline ticket to UAE unless a copy of the UAE Entry permit is obtained.

  • Applicant must not apply for tourist or visit visa for UAE during the process of obtaining the Entry Permit.

  • Electronic Entry Permit will be sent via email. Make sure to print the entry permit before the flight to UAE.

  • Entry Permit holder may require to get Negative PCR Test Result before entry in the UAE depending on which country he/she is coming from.

  • Make sure to obtain entry stamp on the passport and Entry Permit upon arrival in UAE.

  • Entry permit is valid for 60 Days. Applicant must enter UAE and process Medical Test and Emirates ID biometric before the validity ends.

  • Emirates ID Authority does not accept applicants without Negative Covid Test Result or Completed 2 shoots of UAE Approved Vaccine.

  • Obtaining Medical Insurance Policy/Card is a mandatory requirement for UAE Residence Visa stamping.

  • Immigration will hold the Applicant’s passport throughout the visa stamping procedure, hence, Applicant cannot exit the country or withdraw the application. In case of passport withdrawal without completion, the full application will be canceled.

  • Applicant must not book return ticket unless the passport is returned after visa stamping.

  • Residence visa holder must not stay outside UAE for more than 179 consecutive days or else the visa will become invalid and must be canceled.

  • Visa Rules and Regulations, including procedures and requirements, may change without prior notice.

  • Rejection or Approval of the visa is subject to UAE Immigration Authority.

INSIDE THE COUNTRY

  • The application will be submitted to Immigration while the Applicant is INSIDE THE UAE.

  • Applicant must not apply for tourist or visit visa for UAE during the process of obtaining the Resident Permit.

  • Applicant must not exit the UAE while Resident Permit is in the process. If he/she does, the application will be returned and re-applied.

  • After obtaining an Entry Permit, we will process for Visa status change which allows the applicant no to exit and re-enter UAE, if required. In case the applicant preferred to exit the country for a while, it is also allowed but with specific conditions.

  • The resident permit is valid for 60 Days. Within the 60 days after the issue of the Entry permit, the applicant must comply with the medical test and Emirates ID Biometric necessary procedures for UAE Residence visa stamping.

  • Emirates ID Authority does not accept applicants without Negative Covid-19 Test Result or Completed Vaccination Course of UAE Approved Vaccines.
